From a playful DIY logo to a cohesive brand that sparked sponsorships, travel writing gigs, and creative content tools—all rooted in storytelling, intention, and Allie’s adventurous heart.

– The Gap
Allie’s original brand was a watercolor logo with coffee rings and a camera. It was charming—but it didn’t reflect the depth or ambition of her work. She wanted to be taken seriously by travel brands, editors, and sponsors. The old logo felt too “DIY,” clashing with her beautiful photography and thoughtful writing.
She needed a system that said:
Professional. Thoughtful. Adventure-Ready.
And she needed to feel proud sending someone to her website or press kit—not just her Instagram.
– The Process
This project came together through a lot of shared conversation and trust. Allie and I swapped inspo across the digital table—voice notes, screenshots, sketches, and plenty of "okay but what if we..." moments.
We met a few times to talk through direction, priorities, and what felt most aligned. I explored a few different visual directions, and together we narrowed in on the one that made the most sense for where she was headed.
It was thoughtful, collaborative, and built on years of working well together.
– The Deliverables
We made thoughtful, strategic design decisions that extended beyond the visuals and into how Allie used her brand:
- A passport stamp-style logo that doubles as a literal stamp—ideal for content, souvenirs, or travel giveaways.
- A custom viewfinder cutout, which she now uses to frame photos and tell stories visually.
- A press kit that makes sponsors take notice.
- A calming yet adventurous color palette (aqua, eggplant, sea glass, grey, eggshell) that evokes slow travel, curiosity, and quiet joy.
- Type pairings (Playfair Display + Signature Collection) that marry approachability and elegance.
– The Solution
Allie needed more than a good-looking logo—she needed a brand that could back her up in conversations with sponsors, editors, and collaborators.
Something that looked polished and consistent, but still felt like her.
The system we built gives her that foundation: flexible enough for real-world use, strong enough to grow with her, and clear enough to show up professionally across every touchpoint.
It’s a solution that does the job—and one that stays true to the heart of Coffee & Passport: bold journeys, quiet rituals, and stories worth sharing.
– The Palette
This palette helps us make adventure approachable and attainable. That's a lot of a-alliteration, but it explains the color choices to a t {I'll stop now 😉}. This brand needed calming colors - colors which speak to a slower pace of exploration and travel. Making travel a gentle adventure with time to take in the world with a cup (or two) of coffee.
– THE ALLIE
I didn’t just get a logo—I got a brand that travels with me. Lydia helped me step into the next version of my business with so much confidence. Everything she created—from the passport stamp to the press kit—feels like an extension of my voice, my vision, and my values. Since launching, I’ve landed partnerships, been published on major blogs, and finally feel proud to send people to my website. This brand tells my story before they read a word.
– The Typefaces
The san-serif font has a great weight to it with many different font variations to help organize content within your designs. It's also a websafe font, so you can use it ANYWHERE.
The script font should be used sparingly. It is beautiful but save it for little notes and add a touch of personalized whimsy! This should NOT be used in words with more than ten characters in a row or more than five words. Script fonts can be difficult for readers.
